Dr. Lindsay Campbell, Psy.D., ABSNP, BCBA — Licensed Clinical & Forensic Neuropsychologist

§ 01 · Professional biography

Clinician first. Forensic by design.

Dr. Lindsay Campbell is a licensed clinical psychologist (California PSY35915), a Diplomate in School Neuropsychology (American Board of School Neuropsychology), and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, with specialized expertise in neuropsychological and psychological assessment. She earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology magna cum laude and holds a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. She serves as an Assistant Professor of Behavior Analysis at National University.

Her assessment practice spans the lifespan — children, adolescents, and adults — with particular depth in autism spectrum conditions, ADHD, learning differences, and other neurodevelopmental and mood-related presentations. She maintains an active clinical evaluation practice alongside her forensic work, seeing patients in Long Beach and Los Alamitos and via telehealth across California.

That combination is deliberate. Courts are better served by an expert who still does the clinical work she testifies about — whose instruments, norms, and diagnostic judgment are exercised weekly, not remembered from training. Dr. Campbell’s forensic opinions rest on the same standards as her clinical ones; the difference is the audience, and the report is engineered accordingly.

§ 03 · The specialization statement

“Dr. Campbell’s training sits at an intersection most forensic experts never occupy: doctoral-level neuropsychological assessment, board certification in both school neuropsychology and behavior analysis, and a clinical practice centered on autism and ADHD across the lifespan. When a legal matter involves a neurodivergent adult or child, that intersection is the difference between a profile understood and a profile misread.”

§ 04 · Methodology

Not a mission statement — a methodology declaration.

Objectivity is structural

Findings follow the data regardless of who retains her. Referral questions define scope; evidence defines conclusions. An opinion that flexes with the payer is worthless in court — and she declines engagements that ask for one.

Measurement over impression

Validated, population-appropriate instruments; symptom- and performance-validity testing; collateral records reviewed in full. Clinical intuition frames hypotheses — it never substitutes for data.

Reports built for scrutiny

Methodology stated, data disclosed, reasoning shown, opinions expressed to a reasonable degree of professional certainty. A report should invite cross-examination and survive it.

Testimony in plain language

Technical findings are explained so judges and juries can weigh them — declaration, deposition, and trial testimony available statewide.
